a lavish escape, nearly faultless

large bed remote control fireplace separate bathtub peaceful garden
i stayed for several nights at this hotel and enjoyed the hermitage presidential suite. the room featured a very large bed. there was a fireplace operated by remote control. the bathroom has both a separate bathtub and a walk-in shower. i also found the hotel's garden offered a peaceful retreat near the oldest canal.
the tablet that controlled room lighting needed frequent reboots. its charger location was somewhat inconvenient to access.

Balanced Stay at Boutique Location

beautiful garden comfortable room helpful staff faux furniture short life ridiculous amount furniture
The building has a beautiful garden. I sat among sitting rooms. A dining room provided really nice space. Staff were helpful. I enjoyed a large room and the bathroom was very comfortable.
The furniture has some faux features. It reminded me of a movie set. The tablet controlled many devices. It had a short life. Rebooting was required when it ran down. I did not like the furniture.

mixed feelings about this hotel

dim lighting slow service
I found some issues . the lighting in the room was not good. it was too dim, even with all the lights on. it made it hard to read or work in the room. also, the breakfast service was quite slow. On one morning, i waited almost 30 minutes for my order. this delay was frustrating when i had planned a morning activity.
